Cookie policy
A cookie is a small file stored on a user's hard drive by a website. Its purpose is to collect data related to the user's browsing habits. By modifying or publishing a post, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie does not contain any personal data. It simply indicates the ID of the post you just modified. It expires after one day. We use the following types of cookies on our site:
- Functional cookies: We use them to remember the selections you make on our site so they are saved for your next visits.
- Analytical cookies: These allow us to improve the design and functionality of our site by collecting data on the content you access and engage with using our site.
- Targeting cookies: These cookies collect data on how you use the Tx Consulting site and your preferences. This allows us to make the information you see on our site more promotional and targeted for you.
- Third-party cookies: We may use third-party cookies on our site to monitor user preferences in order to tailor advertisements around their interests and for your convenience so you do not have to enter your information again if you post another comment later. These cookies expire after one year. You can choose to be notified each time a cookie is transmitted. You can also choose to disable cookies entirely in your internet browser, but this may decrease the quality of your user experience.
Additional provisions
- If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. Additionally, visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
- For users who register on our site (if applicable), we also store the personal data they provide in their profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except their username). Site administrators can also see and edit that information.
- If you have an account or have left comments on the site, you can request to receive a file containing all the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request the deletion of personal data concerning you. This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
